Actually, there’s not been so much silence as lack of signal. Spent the day relaxing and collecting heads at a lan party. Took some heads, left a few spray bombs by dead bodies, generally wasted some time. I only played TF2, and spent the rest of the time dickin around in flatland, checked out the Source map editor, and managed to not make my back numb from RSI.
I’ve done a lot of reading about resveratrol recently, and I decided to start it a few weeks ago. I’ve definately noticed that I feel it less when I’ve sat on my ass a few days – Monday always used to be the laggy day for biking to school, but now I don’t have Monday classes so I sit on my ass for three days, and have no problem jumping on the bike and maxing out the gear I keep it in pretty much all the way there, without breathing hard. Res.v is supposed to help your cardiovascular system – of course there’s a thirty percent chance that it’s all my imagination. The recommended dosage is about 1mg/kg of body weight. Four of the most potent sources of resveratrol found completely naturally are: peanuts, japanese knotweed, grape skins and grape seeds. Now, I happen to be lucky because I freakin love peanuts and eat the shit out of them regardless of their health benefits, and they provide 79mg/oz, which is basically a daily dose for me. Now, there’s some controversy as to the bioavailability and efficacy of orally dosed resveratrol, but most clinical evidence seems to support the idea that eating this shit is pretty damned good for you.
In mouse and rat experiments, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, blood-sugar-lowering, chelating and other beneficial cardiovascular effects of resveratrol have been reported.
And said tiny mammals share a huge amount of genetic material with us. However, as noted, high doses to pre-pubescent mammals (that’s you, humans) have been shown to have deleterious effects, so not recommended (peanuts and grape eating are fine – I ate the fuck out of peanuts and drank grape till my eyes turned purple and I’m… fine).
And of course freakishly large doses in regular humans is probably not a great thing.
Other than that, been working on some audio, and going to hook up a microphone soon. I dunno if I’ll have any polished music to ‘cast with, but I’ll at least narrate some of my sound creation process.

Is that dosed on actual or ideal body weight? Huge difference
What is the difference between actual and ideal body weight? You mean dose of the person when they weigh their ‘ideal’ amount vs. what they actually weigh? Probably ideal, read the wiki, you’ll make better sense of it than I.
