A specific user was using their T-mobile cell phone to evade some g-lines set on their home connection. Until T-mobile can resolve the issue and remove the user, the g-line is not likely to be removed. Sorry, but sometimes we have to take drastic measures to protect our users and our network.

So the g-lined the entire T-mobile IP block. So the user is just going to use redirects or bots to cause havok. They will eventually have to g-line the whole internet because they’re dumb. Just great, because I was enjoying connecting to them from my cellphone. Perhaps I’ll ask my channel to move to a server with smarter admins who actually know how to secure their network in ways that don’t involve blocking entire multi-national ISPs.

update feb 2010: they have finally removed the gline for whomever that one guy was that caused them to block a whole service provider willy-nilly
