Here’s what I don’t get – when I boot my computer, it griiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinds like an espresso shop while writting log files to disk about 1.5 megs per second (at least Vista comes with decent self-analytical tools) and my computer grinds and grinds and is slow.

So I’m running Chrome, which is writing to disk at about 20 megs a second. My computer is neither grinding nor slow. What gives?
