Yeah, the “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” guy.

Did you also know he is a jazz and a cappella vocal performer, vocal improviser and conductor? He did “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” for the money to fund his real music – but that song was popular because of his vocal techniques and tricks.

He teaches the audience to sing while hopping around on stage at the World Science Festival 2009.

You might be thinking, big deal, he sings a few notes and they copy him.

But he only teaches the first two notes. When he hops to the third note, without singing it first, the audience just goes to it. He says everywhere he goes around the world, audiences just get it. Maybe there’s a lot of hidden musicians around? Probably not that many.
