Car was robbed over the weekend. cd case, subwoofer, amp and custom fiberglass subwoofer box (because I have the kind of car that no one makes anything for, so everything’s gotta be custom – seriously, you can’t even buy a proper sun visor for my car, I’m shocked it takes a standard stereo). They left the cd deck, the stock speakers, and my paperwork. There was some other random stuff destined for ebay in the trunk that may or may not be gone, but was fairly worthless to me anyhow.
The thing that gets me is they got in my car without breaking anything – just unlocked the door and took the goods. I am grateful (full of grates, not greats?) that no windows were broken and the car didn’t get rained on, and I don’t drive that much so the stereo really isn’t important, and this wont cost me any money (well, except sealing up the wells where the speakers used to go, I’m pretty sure I threw away the old covers.)
