Protests going on in Iceland. The prime minister’s ride got egged while he got into it and drove away – I can’t imagine that happening in the US without bullets fired. Protests going on a while now, and it’s a testament to the character of the Icelandic people that the worst things have gotten is lighting some fir trees on fire in the streets and egging the prime minister. They were recently some of the richest people on the earth and now own a lot of ice and ice makers in the polar circle. Will we take things with such grace if and when that happens here?
