The executive apparently committed suicide by hanging himself, according to people with knowledge of the investigation.
I know I’m a bit late to the game today. So another one bites the dust. I mean, this guy wasn’t even in charge when shit hit the fan, he was the interim, and it killed him. I wonder what the total of finance suicides is now. The last murder-suicide, the lawyer and family, he’d written several $250k checks, and told the receiver to wait a few days before cashing more than the first two – that was definitely an economically-spurred act.
So, you tell me, was it this bad in the 90s, or 80s, or 70s’ recessions?
