#FreddieMac CFO Suicide

David B. Kellermann, the acting chief financial officer of the troubled mortgage giant Freddie Mac, was found dead Wednesday morning at his home in Northern Virginia, the police said.

The executive apparently committed suicide by hanging himself, according to people with knowledge of the investigation.

I know I’m a bit late to the game today. So another one bites the dust. I mean, this guy wasn’t even in charge when shit hit the fan, he was the interim, and it killed him. I wonder what the total of finance suicides is now. The last murder-suicide, the lawyer and family, he’d written several $250k checks, and told the receiver to wait a few days before cashing more than the first two – that was definitely an economically-spurred act.

So, you tell me, was it this bad in the 90s, or 80s, or 70s’ recessions?
