Better than that even – Halo 3 sold $300mil the first week – GTA IV sold $310 million… the first DAY. Estimates put them at raking in a cool half bil for the first week.
Here’s hoping they’ll do another game set in the Vice City setting, truly the ultimate GTA arena. Or maybe just release the map for multiplayer in IV, that would also be neat (I’d pay 5 bucks for that).
