The history of Haiti, poor benighted country, is so rife with fuckings that I’m surprised they’re still a nation, and it really attests to the resilience and strength of the people, however ignorant we may claim them to be, that they stay, and fight, for their freedoms. The spirit of lavalas lives, no matter how much the UN, foreign sovereignties and/or mother nature fucks them over.
