Wow, 10 fuckin years? Really? At least I went out for celebratory ice cream last night, even thought I had forgotten the 10 fuckin years anniversary was coming up (and happened to be last night). I guess this means I launched clubneko with HTML 2.0 or something about a month after I turned 19. At the time, I drank tons of soda, listened to happy hardcore, trance and whatever, and had a computer that was so large and hot it occupied two computer cases (Got a great deal on a full-height hard drive, a 5′ long internal SCSI cable, and a couple of AC fans from Radioshack. Yeah, it was loud.) My how things have changed. SCSI is dead, long live SATA. Things I never knew about are now must-haves (for instance, no USB then, now I have two USB hubs and barely a free port), the music I used to dance to I can now produce, I no longer have to update HTML pages by hand to ‘blog,’ though we didn’t have a word for it back then, it was just the inchoate rantings of website owners at the time (For instance, I actually blogged about the Columbine massacre when it happened. 4 months before blogger.com opened it’s doors… of course, I didn’t automate clubneko until like a million years after everyone else had nice tools).
In any case, this is the longest any single thing has held my intermittent attention (besides breathing and eating, duh).

And I could be mistaken but I’m pretty sure clubneko actually dates back to 98 & being registered with Verisign for a year before I told them to go fuck themselves, but then again I could just be remembering the old demon-neko.com I had or demon-neko.something.com I had a while before that. Gosh, there’s something wrong with my head. ^.^
