Well, considering America’s rampant anti-intellectualism, I’ll have to start recruiting volunteers from other spots on the globe – after all, if we don’t like intelligent humans in America, there’s no way we’re going to stand for intelligent computers. I predict we’ll have simulated AI lynchings in America at some point. Asia is probably my best best.
I’d like to point out that all our movies are about robots gone wild, because we love controversy and conflict. All the stories about robots and AI that don’t involve them becoming our oppressors so we can be ‘freedom fighters’ (I bet Skynet refers to humans as terrorists while the humans call themselves liberators) don’t get made into movies because who cares when robots treat us as equals. We don’t even watch movies about humans treating each other as equals.
I’d like to see a movie where an oppressed robot helps out a human, and thus the true nature of robots is revealed – they are just like their creators, as we are like our creators (our parents, not “god”) and have all the same flaws and problems that we have struggled so long to overcome.
