I just really don’t get it.
Congress has now decided to stand up to the President. Only, they’re standing up to the President Elect. The Democrat-controlled (I almost wrote that as ‘Democratically controlled’ but from what I heard on the Daily Show Tuesday, they certainly don’t believe that – Harry Reid said, and I paraphrase “We decided who sits in the Senate, the House decides who sits in the House,” – not even the highest ranking senator can give lip service to serving the people or being elected by them. The same senate that would have allowed a 7-count felon to come back if he hadn’t barely been defeated in an election he wouldn’t have been allowed to vote in because he is now a convicted felon, stripped of voting rights.) – Ahem, where was I? Ah yes, the Democrat-controlled congress has decided to fight back against Barack Obama’s stimulus plan. Because Bush’s bank bailout was a total failure, they don’t trust Obama now.
Congress really is the opposite of Progress. “That asshole that you’re nothing like failed, so we expect you to fail the same way too, even though your ideas are nothing alike (except that they both used money).”
