Seriously, what is up with the Gallic shrug? Do French people shrug differently than everyone else? I have seen this turn up in literature for at least 10 years now. Well, after 5 seconds of googling, it turns out there is actually THE Gallic shrug.
No offense, but I’m now wishing I had kept it in my imagination, but I at least now know what it’s intended to mean.
