Wow, what can I say other than this is some of the baby steps of becoming cyborgs and robots. (Also, it’s amusing because it’s a robot making music, like me!) This is a robot, that’s controlled by wearing gloves and goggles that provide you a view from the robots camera-eyes. Imagine the possibilities! If you have a kid, take a 15 minute break at work and play with them via robopuppet! When the technology is mature enough, use it to chase your cat around outside and answer the question once and for all what they do when they’re out there (my other theory is Grand Theft Teapot… maybe that’ll see the light of day one of these days). And to think I almost didn’t finish reading the penny arcade newspost today.
