So, the Pope isn’t gonna like Barack Obama, a Protestant Christian, because of his views on stem cells. So what’s a Protestant to do? Probably tell the pope to go fuck himself, though in more polite terms than Martin Luther used for the 99 articles of Protestation that kicked off a bloody jihad in Europe (if you’ll pardon me using the term jihad to apply broadly and blandly to any religious war) that lasted a 100 years or so.
Catholicism has been relegated to 25% of America’s Christianity. Not 25% of Americans, 25% of American Christians. And if it weren’t for the Mexican immigration, that number would be much, much, much lower, as they actually outnumber Caucasoid Catholics in America. And half of them are illegal immigrants who can’t vote.
So what’s a Protestant to do? Probably ignore this. The pope condemned vaccination when that was first discovered, just about crucified Galileo for telling the truth, and have fucked with, tortured and killed, in the past, countless people who wouldn’t agree with them. I’m not saying they should be condemned for their past, I’m just saying it should be taken into account with regards to their actions in the now. They have been wrong, wrong, WRONG in relation to scientific matters until hundreds of years after they have been proven true. Witness the Church’s reconciliation with Darwin in the past few decades after more than a hundred years of shitting on him as a heretic.
