Two days later, Eli Lilly broke off testing of a much-touted new drug for schizophrenia when volunteers showed double the expected level of placebo response.

Which begs the question, why exactly the f[REDACTED] are we not treating schizophrenics with sugar pills if it’s roughly 60% effective (going from the roughly 30% efficacy rate of placebos)? It’s cheap! And effective! As better than drugs that big pharmcos have spent millions developing!
