I durn screwed the pooch with the last mp3 export. There was a problem with sample length timing at the original 192khz output from ableton. 48khz exporting seems to have fixed the problem.
I also have changed the bitrate to 320 so it wont be losing out on any bass or high end.

Thinking about adding some lyrics to this in the next week or so, now that ubervocording is at my disposal. Spent a few hours tightening up the mastering on this tonight, a lot happier with it than the last time I listened to it. If, for some reason, two copies of the podcast player show up in this post (I swear, I can’t win), the second one seems to be the one working in the post preview. And if that doesn’t work, download!

Been workin on some new audio tricks. First up for your consideration is a little piece I’m calling Sonitorium. Base audio generated by the Kurzweil and my voice; effects voodoo courtesy of Ableton.

The second is a little junk I made with some drums n’ bass on the Kurz and a lead arp on my alesis Micron (currently out on loan so work on this fell by the wayside).
Apologies for the static, a weird artifact of mp3 compression I don’t feel like chasing down at the moment.

So called as a tongue in cheek allusion to communism (since the music is free), the style of beats and the fact that it’s a c64 sampled drum-kit working the percussion.
