Memes are “that which is imitated.” Imitation is the only human instinct. Information DOES want to be free because we copy mercilessly and by nature.
She suggests that memes live through us – we are merely media. Language is a parasite. Very interesting, very very interesting.
Then… she goes on about technology memes (temes) … controlling us, because they too want to replicate. And that’s what we do. We replicate.
