What if ‘time’ was just spacetime stretching, expanding. Could the theory that time is an illusion imposed by our brains to make order of a universe where everything is possible at once be credible, if time was just an artifact of the physical expansion of the 3 other dimension?
Does the fact that we can measure the universe and ‘read’ electromagnetic radiation that was created when the universe was so very young, younger than our planet is, barely older than humanity in the cosmic timeframe. And if you think about it, every second we go forward in time is the most traveled we’ll ever be in time.
But everything leaves a trace, and the larger the event is the longer the trace lasts. We may not be able to go back in time but time reaches out and touches us. Like the ripples from a distant rock finally hitting shore.
Is electromagnetic radiation more than ripples of spacetime? Are we more than ripples, then?
