It’s 20 hours in the evenin, a good time for havin fun
I am workin in the bit mine, figuratively speaking. Another one of my “don’t really know what genre to call it” style tracks. bitpop? I certainly haven’t well figured out how to emulate traditional electronic genres, even when I try. The closest I’ve come is figuring out how to make Reason sound like Vangelis about 6 years ago.
I have an electric violin around here. I need to figure out how to make it hold a tuning, and then learn how to make it make some noise, so I can resample and sequence it. Not becoming a virtuoso any time soon, but I can at least provide myself a nice sampling source – I can also route it through the Beast as an FX module and basically make it a synth with analog input that way.
Considering how much time I sit spend sitting around waiting for the music to render from my program into a single wave file, I could probably learn to play in the downtime, instead of wasting my time blogging, although I have a feeling that would irritate my fiancée while she was trying to study and watch family guy.
